Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior refuses to slow down at the box office despite several new releases & cricket match. After the blockbuster 2 weeks, it has started its third week at a good note and joined the 200-crore club at the domestic box office.
Directed by Om Raut, the Hindi period action drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is hit the target right among the audience and raked the business of 118.91 crores in the first week with 61.93 crores in the weekend & 56.98 crores on weekdays from 3880 screens.
Then in the second week, Tanhaji had passed the weekend at a strong note and did the business of 48.54 crores that included 10.06 crores on Friday, 16.36 crores on Saturday and 22.12 crores on Sunday. Then on weekdays as well, it had maintained a solid pace and minted 8.17 crores on 2nd Monday, 7.72 crores on 2nd Tuesday, 7.09 crores on 2nd Wednesday & 7.02 crores on 2nd Thursday.
After the 2 weeks, the total collection of T-Series Films & Ajay Devgn Films’ production was recorded at 197.45 crores. Now the film has entered in the third week and still has more than 2000 screens nationwide. Despite the new major release Street Dancer 3D, it managed to collect 5.38 crores on 3rd Friday after a normal drop than the previous day.
With this, the total collection of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior after 15 days, has become 202.83 crores nett at the domestic box office. As per the current trend, it is expected to go past 225 crores by the end of this weekend.
