Bollywood is buzzing with excitement as Tamannaah Bhatia officially joins the cast of Vvan, an upcoming folk mythological thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead. The film, backed by Balaji Telefilms and The Viral Fever (TVF), is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated cinematic experiences of 2025.
As per a source quoted by Pinkvilla, “Tamannaah Bhatia is on a signing spree. After Ranger, Rakesh Maria Biopic, and No Entry 2, she has signed on for director Deepak Mishra’s next, Vann.” This film will mark Sidharth and Tamannaah’s first collaboration, giving the audience yet another fresh pair to look forward to.
The source stated that the actress will be undergoing diction training with Sidharth. “Tamannaah is excited to step into the world of mythology, set in the central part of India. She will be undergoing a diction training with Sidharth Malhotra for her role in the film. Vvan will be shot in real locations, and the makers have already started the pre-production to identify the forest areas. A large chunk of this film is set in a forest,” said the source.
Tamannah was most recently seen in Odela 2 and will be making a special appearance in the film Raid 2.
Directed by Panchayat fame Deepak Mishra, Vvan is scheduled to go on floors in May 2025, and will hit the big screen in 2026.
