While fans are highly anticipating the release of Kanguva, the magnum opus of the Tamil superstar, which will be releasing in multiple languages, fans of Suriya has another interesting film to look forward to. Currently being referred to as Suriya44, the film, which is yet to be titled, is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Recently sparking excitement among fans on social media, Suriya unveiled his look from the film in a short video footage which seems to have gone viral on the platform.
The video was shared by the Tamil superstar in order to announce the commencement of Suriya44 with Karthik Subbaraj. In the video, after the clap from the clapperboard, we can see a retro-styled Suriya in his multi-color striped shirt sitting on a promenade along with a suitcase as he slowly faces the camera in an intense and menacing look. While the film is also expected to feature popular star Pooja Hegde as his leading lady, her avatar is, however, kept under wraps.
In the post shared by Suriya, he also shared other details of the film which includes the tagline of the film which reads, “Love, Laughter, War” as along with the ‘Shoot in Progress…’ announcement. He also tagged the technical crew of the film which includes, Santosh for music, Shreyaas Krishna as the cinematographer of the film, Jackson as the art director, Kecha Khamhpakdee for the action sequences, Shafique Mohamed Ali as the film editor, and Praveen Raja as the costume designer for the film.
On June 1, Karthik Subbaraj also announced the rest of the star cast of the film which includes popular star Jayaram, Karuna Karan, and Joju George who will be seen in pivotal roles in the movie along with Pooja Hegde and Suriya. Along with Kanguva, fans have now also expressed their excitement as they are waiting to know more details about Suriya44.
