Stree 2 8th day box office collection: One of the highly-awaited Hindi movies of the year, Stree 2 had expectedly taken a BUMPER start at the box office and registered a super-strong extended opening week.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the sequel of Stree did the business of Rs 204 crores which included Rs 9 crore on Wed {Preview}, Rs 55.40 crores on Thursday, Rs 35.30 crores on Friday, Rs 45.70 crores on Saturday & Rs 58.20 crores on Sunday.
Then on weekdays, after a significant drop, Stree 2 managed to collect Rs 38.40 crores on Monday (Raksha Bandhan holiday), Rs 26.80 crores on Tuesday & Rs 20.40 crores on Wednesday.
On the next day i.e. 2nd Thursday as it was released a day earlier, Maddock Films’ production minted the amount of Rs 18.20 crores and raised 8 days total collection to Rs 307.80 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Meanwhile, ‘Stree 2’ is smashing box office records. The film is inches away from crossing the Rs 500 crore-mark, globally.
