Stree 2 box office collection day 5: After a fabulous opening weekend, Maddock Films’ new offering ‘Stree 2’ has remained super-strong Monday due to Raksha Bandhan.
Featuring Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao – Stree 2 took a terrific start on Thursday and did an exceptional business of Rs 55.40 crores nett and also collected Rs 9.40 crores from previews on Wednesday evening.
Showing an excellent trend over the weekend, it collected Rs 35.30 crores on Friday, Rs 45.70 crores on Saturday and Rs 58.20 crores on Sunday and reported a 4-day total of Rs 204 crores nett across India.
Then on Monday, Amar Kaushik’s directorial recorded a usual decline in footfalls but still remained strong and raked a business of Rs 38.40 crores nett. By the end of day 5, the film registered a total of Rs 242.40 crores nett.
In “Stree 2,” fans are treated to surprise cameos from Varun Dhawan, reprising his role as Bhaskar from “Bhediya,” along with appearances by Bollywood heavyweights Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia.
