Stree 2 18th day collection: There are new entrants in the Rs 500 crore club – Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Filmmaker Amar Kaushik’s Stree 2 saw a huge third Sunday jump at the box office.
After scoring massive numbers- Rs 307.80 crores in week 1 and Rs 145.80 crores in week 2, the Hindi horror-comedy drama entered the third weekend on a strong note and minted Rs 9.25 crores on Friday.
On the 3rd Saturday, the film recorded huge growth and collected Rs 17.40 crores. On a similar note, Stree 2 took another leap on Sunday and bagged Rs 22.10 crores. After 18 days, it registered a total of Rs 502.35 crores nett at the domestic box office.
It has got no competition from any new release. In fact, the film has now got an even clearer window at the box office with the delay in the release of ‘Emergency’, which was scheduled to hit the screens on September 6. The Kangana Ranaut-starrer has now been postponed amid many controversies.
The only competition that ‘Stree 2’ might face in the future is from Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘GOAT’.
