The makers of Sky Force have just unveiled the trailer for the much-awaited movie, which stars Akshay alongside debutant Veer Pahariya. It was launched at a grand event in Mumbai on Sunday.
The trailer reveals that Sky Force is set against the dramatic and patriotic canvas of the 1965 India-Pakistan Air War. In the movie, Akshay Kumar will be seen in his intense avatar once again. Veer Pahariya will also be making his acting debut with this film. The two will be playing the role of Indian Air Force officers in Sky Force.
In the trailer, Akshay Kumar gives a stern warning to Pakistan when he decides to go ahead and launch India’s first air strike. While he manages to teach the neighbouring country a lesson, Veer Pahariya goes missing during the strike. Akshay believes that Veer was left in Pakistan during the strike and is still alive. However, the Indian government fails to find him.
The trailer then reveals that Sara Ali Khan will be playing the role of Veer’s lover in the movie. Among others, Nirmat Kaur and Sharad Kelkar will also be seen playing prominent roles in the movie.
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, Sky Force is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is set to release globally on January 24, 2025, during the Republic Day weekend.
