Akshay Kumar is celebrating his birthday today. The superstar is receiving wishes from industry friends, filmmakers fans, and the audiences. Amidst all the love and blessings Akshay Kumar is receiving, the superstar received a special note from his ‘Sky Force’ director Abhishek Anil Kapur.
Abhishek Anil Kapur who is at the helm as a director for Maddock Films Sky Force along with Sandeep Kewlani, took to social media and captioned, “Wish you a very Happy Birthday @akshaykumar Sir. Thank you for keeping that hand on my shoulder and let me grow under your wings. The journey from Sarfira to Skyforce has been the most memorable one, waiting to collaborate with you on something new soon. Loads of love & good wishes”.
It is to be noted that Abhishek Anil Kapur is making his directorial debut with ‘Sky Force’ along with Sandeep Kewlani. The film from Maddock Films will be arriving in the cinemas next year.
Abhishek’s foray into entertainment happened with Raj & DK’s ‘Shor In The City’ (2011) following this he worked on ‘Go Goa Gone’ (2013). Before working as director for Sky Force, Abhishek Anil Kapur proved his mettle under Maddock films as an Associate director as he had worked with Amar Kaushik for ‘Stree’ (2018) ‘Bala’ (2019) and ‘Bhediyaa’ (2022), with Laxman Utekar in ‘Mimmi’ (2021) and Sudha Kongara in ‘Sarfira’ (2024).
Besides this Abhishek Anil Kapur had worked as second assistant director with Nitesh Tiwari and Aamir Khan on ‘Dangal’ (2016) and with Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra on ‘Mirzya’. (2016)
