Skanda and Chandramukhi 2 box office collection day 4: Two new Pan-India films- Skanda and Chandramukhi 2, which were released in theatres this Thursday, have scored low numbers at the box office in their extended opening weekend.
Featuring Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela, Saiee Manjrekar and Prince Cecil, Skanda has received mixed-to-negative reviews from the critics. As the result, it opened on a decent note on Thursday with Rs 11.50 crores.
On Friday, it recorded a significant drop and managed to collects Rs 5.05 crores. Them on the next day i.e. Saturday, the film picked up and minted the amount of Rs 5.30 crores. On Sunday, Boyapati Sreenu’s directorail Skanda shows more jump and minted Rs 6.95 crores nett. With this, it has registered a 4-day total of Rs 28.80 crores nett.
On the other hand, Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut and Lakshmi Menon starrer Chandramukhi 2 is also getting negative reactions from critics as well as audience. As the result, On Thursday, it took a decent start and raked an opening business of Rs 8.25 crores.
Then on the next day, P. Vasu’s directorial has garnered Rs 4.35 crores on Friday and Rs 5.05 crores on Saturday. With a further jump, Chandramukhi 2 minted an amount of Rs 6.80 crores and registered a first weekend total of Rs 24.45 crores nett at the domestic box office.
