Skanda and Chandramukhi 2 box office collection day 3: After a decent opening on Thursday, Ram Pothineni starrer is heading steadily over the weekend despite a clash with another major Pan-India release Chandramukhi 2 which is also running at a steady note.
On Thursday, Skanda was opened at a good note at the Indian box office with Rs 11.50 crores. On Friday, after a usual drop, it had minted Rs 5.05 crores, while on the next day i.e. Saturday, the film picked up again and minted the amount of Rs 5.30 crores. With this, its 3 days total domestic collection has become Rs 21.85 crores nett.
Apart from Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, ‘Skanda: The Attacker’ boasts an impressive ensemble cast. Saiee Manjrekar plays a crucial role in the film, adding depth and diversity to the narrative.
On the other hand, Chandramukhi 2 had started the journey at a decent note and did the business of Rs 8.25 crores on Thursday. After a significant drop in footfalls, it had bagged the amount of Rs 4.35 crores on Friday. Then on Saturday, sequel to Chandramukhi managed to collect Rs 5.05 crores and raised 3 days total collection to 17.65 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Raghava Lawrence plays the role of Vettaiyan Raja, Kanagana Ranaut plays the role of Chandramukhi, and Lakshmi Menon interprets the role of Chandramukhi’s ghost. The rest of the film’s cast includes Vadivelu, Mahima Nambiar, and Radhika Sarathkumar.
