Skanda and Chandramukhi 2 box office collection day 1: The two new Pan-India films – Skanda and Chandramukhi 2 have been released in theatres across the country on Thursday with mixed reactions from critics as well as audience.
Skanda featuring Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela, Saiee Manjrekar and Prince Cecil has unfortunately received mixed reviews from critics as well as the audience.
On Thursday, Skanda, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, opened on a good note with only 45-47% occupancy in the morning. The film remained good and it has registered Rs 11.50 crores from all version at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, directed by P. Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 took a decent start on Thursday with only 35% occupancy in the morning. The film showsdecent growth in mass centres and has collected Rs 8.25 crores from all versions.
It is a sequel to Chandramukhi (2005). The film stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in the principal roles along with an ensemble supporting cast, that includes Vadivelu, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Subiksha and others.
