After much anticipation, the release date for Aamir Khan’s upcoming film, Sitaare Zameen Par, has been officially locked. Sources close to the production have revealed that the movie is scheduled to hit theaters on June 20, 2025.
Initially, there were speculations about a May 30 release, but the makers have strategically chosen June 20 to capitalize on a clear two-week window at the box office, ensuring the film gets ample opportunity to connect with the audience.
The source further added, “Aamir strongly believes in the content of Sitaare Zameen Par, as it rides on his formula of laughter-emotion-drama. He was looking for a good window and has found one with a June 20 release. The entire marketing plan of this social dramedy is locked.”
The source further revealed that the editing of Sitaare Zameen Par is complete, and Aamir Khan is actively involved in crafting a comprehensive marketing strategy for the film. The theatrical trailer for Sitaare Zameen Par is expected to be released within the next two weeks and will reportedly be attached to the prints of Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated film, Raid 2, which is slated for release on May 1, 2025.
Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film also features Genelia Deshmukh and Darsheel Safary in the pivotal roles.
