Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s most-awaited cop drama, titled Singham Again, finally hit theaters today (November 1st). It is the fifth installment of Shetty’s Cop Universe franchise and a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014).
Plot: In the third installment of Singham series, the valiant cop Bajirao Singham and his team of brave hearts embark on a cross-border mission to rescue his beloved wife, Avni Singham, who has been abducted by a formidable antagonist. Upholding its legacy of never letting you down-never has, never will-this installment promises a fierce battle between good and evil. This timeless struggle will once again be fought through the indomitable spirit of Bajirao Singham. The legendary roar that began 13 years ago continues to resonate in the hearts of the audience.
Peformance: Ajay Devgn delivers an electrifying performance as Singham. Arjun Kapoor is a big surprise. Kapoor as Danger Lanka (Zubair Hafiz) the antagonist, does a marvelous job. The supporting cast — Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff — do justice to their respective characters. Ravi Kishan is effortless in a small, but significant role. Also, don’t miss the Salman Khan aka Chulbul Pandey cameo.
Direction: Director Rohit Shetty has done his work very well, which has resulted in such a enjoyable movie.
Music: Ravi Basrur and Thaman S’ music is decent.
