Rohit Shetty is all set to entertain the audience with a new Singham film nearly a decade after the last – Singham Returns was released. Well, a news has surfaced online that today that Akshay Kumar will be joining Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Hyderabad soon, for the schedule. Akshay Kumar who has a cameo appearance in the film playing the character of Sooryavanshi.
As per a source close to the entertainment portal Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar will be reprising his role from Sooryavanshi and that he is all set to start shooting tomorrow, “Akshay Kumar has already reached Hyderabad to shoot for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. He will start shooting for his week-long schedule from 9th October.”
“Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranveer Singh are already shooting for the much-awaited film at Hyderabad’s Ramoji Filmcity. The entire team is leaving no stone unturned to make this cop universe bigger. Fans are definitely in for a visual treat,” sources added.
Rohit Shetty’s cop universe consists of four released films and one in-the-pipeline. The released ones include Ajay Devgn’s Singham and Singham Returns, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi.
Singham Again is currently scheduled to release on August 15, 2024.
