Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s untitled film, which was scheduled to release on December 7, will now get a new release date. The makers shared an official announcement about the film’s release date.
Sharing the new release date on X, Maddock Films production wrote, “Mark your calendars – Valentine Week! đź’– Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan present an untitled film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, set to release on February 9, 2024. Produced by Dinesh Vijan Produced by Jyoti Deshpande Produced by Laxman Utekar, and Written & directed by Amit Joshi & Aradhana Sah. A Maddock Films production.”
As per a report by Pinkvilla, the decision to postpone the release date of Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s untitled film was made in the best interest of the project. “It’s a decision taken in the best interest of the film. The makers are now looking to hit the big screen in the month of February – which is the month of love. The release period of Valentines’ Day is also in sync with the core plot of the film, appealing to the youth,” their report stated.
There have also been reports about the yet-untitled film that it will see Kriti Sanon as a robot and Shahid Kapoor as a scientist, who falls in love with the former.
Dharmendra is also part of the project who plays Shahid’s grandfather.
