Sarfira and Hindustani 2 box office collection day 1: This Friday released two new films, true story based ‘Sarfira’ and a vigilante action film ‘Hindustani 2 (Indian 2)’ have taken a slow start at box office.
Featuring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Radhika Madan, remake of Kongara’s Tamil film Soorarai Pottru, has received positive reviews from critics as well as audience, which is a good sign.
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Sudha Kongara reported lower advance bookings and took a slow start on Friday with 7-8% occupancy in the morning. As the result, the film managed to collect 2.50 crores nett on day 1 from around 2500 screens across the country.
On the other hand, Kamal Haasan starrer Hindutani 2 (Indian 2), which was the second instalment in the Indian trilogy and sequel to Indian (1996), has received negative reviews from critics due to its outdated storyline.
On Tuesday, S. Shankar’s directorial Indian 2 opened on a fair note and raked a decent business of 25.60 crores nett including all version.
