After Tadap, producer Sajid Nadiadwala once again joined hands with Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, for a romantic drama titled Sanki. The film also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead.
The Production house (Nadiadwala Grandson) made an official announcement on X, formerly called Twitter. A source close to devlopment told to leading Entertainment portal – PeepingMoon, “It’s a project Sajid has been trying to put together for years. Ahan has already showcased his acting ability with Tadap and will further display his versatility by taking on a fully rogue character in this new film, living up to its crazy and entertaining title. The fresh chemistry between him and Pooja only adds to the excitement for this action spectacle.”
Written by Rajat Aroraa, directed by debut directors Adnan A. Shaikh and Yasir Jah Sanki is set to hit theatres on Valentine’s Day 2025, (14th February).
Nadiadwala is now utilizing the same title for Ahan’s film, while the Theri remake, which is now happening with Varun, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi, has officially been titled Baby John.
