Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who has impressed us with performances in films like Theri, Mersal, Majili and many more, is all set to star in another movie soon. She is currently in Nainital, Uttarakhand for the shoot of Russo Brothers’ project Citadel opposite Varun Dhawan.
In between the shot of the series, The talented actor paid a visit to Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Nainital early Monday morning. She also shared a beautiful scenic picture of Baba Neem Karoli Mandir and captioned it with ‘white heart’.
Helmed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the International series which is originally created by the director duo, Russo Brothers. For the unversed, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci are headlining the global version of the series.
On the work front, Samantha is currently gearing up for the release of her film Shaakuntalam which also stars Dev Mohan. Shaakuntalam portrays the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant from Mahabharata.
Earlier, the film was supposed to hit theatres on February 17 but earlier this month, the makers issued a statement and revealed that the film will be postponed. The film will now release on April 14.
