Salman Khan has begun filming his highly-anticipated movie Sikandar, a project produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by AR Murugadoss. The production kicked off in Mumbai, on Tuesday, where the team will shoot an ambitious mid-air action sequence.
On June 19, Khan along with Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment took to social media to share a BTS image from the first day of shoot to announce the beginning of a new journey. In the BTS picture, the trio of Salman, Sajid and Murugadoss are seen sharing a laugh on the sets, setting the tone right for the schedule ahead.
He captioned the photo saying, “Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar” along with tagging the core team of the movie.
Right after, Rashmika Mandanna was announced as the female lead, making Sikandar a true Pan India spectacle and also marking the Animal actress’ first collaboration with the megastar.
Along with the post, the team also reconfirmed an Eid 2025 release for this action-packed entertainer. However, further details on the film’s cast is yet to be revealed.
