Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire box office collection day 7: After a thunderous opening, Salaar has now crossed Rs 500 crore worldwide and is still going strong. The first part of ‘Salaar’ released in theatres on December 22 in five languages.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film opened on a strong note on Friday and did an exceptional business of Rs 209.55 crores nett at the weekend with Rs 90.70 crores on Friday, Rs 56.35 crores on Saturday, and Rs 62.50 crores on Sunday including all versions.
Then on weekdays, it witnessed a huge drop and minted an amount of Rs 46.05 crores on Monday 9 (Christmas Holiday), Rs 24.90 crores on Tuesday, and Rs 15.60 crores on Wednesday. On Thursday, with further decline, Salaar collected 12.10 crores and registered a 7-day total of Rs 308 crores nett at the domestic box office.
With its Hindi version, Homable Films’ production has raked Rs 92.50 crores with Rs 15.75 crores Friday, Rs 16.35 crores on Saturday, Rs 21.10 crores on Sunday, Rs 15 crores on Monday, Rs 9.10 crores on Tuesday, Rs 8 crores on Wednesday, and Rs 7.20 crores on Thursday.
The film will release in two parts with the second part titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.
