Saiyaara 8th day box office collection: After a blockbuster first week at the box office, Saiyaara entered its second Friday (Day 8) with strong momentum. The film, which raked in a massive Rs 175.25 crore in its opening week, has continued to draw audiences as it heads into its second weekend—a key period that often determines a film’s long-term theatrical run.
The first weekend for Saiyaara was nothing short of phenomenal. It began with Rs 22 crore on Friday, picked up momentum on Saturday with Rs 26.25 crore, and saw a huge spike on Sunday, raking in Rs 36.25 crore. This brought the opening weekend total to a massive Rs 84.50 crore, making it one of the biggest opening weekends of the year and setting the tone for a powerful week ahead.
Following the explosive weekend, Saiyaara maintained a rock-steady grip during the weekdays as well. Monday brought in Rs Rs 24.25 crore—an impressive hold with minimal drop from Sunday. Tuesday saw a slight rise with Rs 25 crore, a rare mid-week surge fueled by word-of-mouth and repeat viewership. Wednesday followed with Rs 22 crore, and Thursday rounded out the first week with Rs 19.50 crore. This strong Monday-to-Thursday performance contributed an additional Rs 90.75 crore to the total, pushing the Week 1 tally to Rs 175.25 crore.
Early estimates suggest that Saiyaara collected Rs 18.50 crore on its second Friday. This is a commendable hold, showing only a moderate drop from Thursday’s Rs 19.50 crore, which is typical as weekday shows tend to see lower footfalls. The film’s 8-day total now stands at Rs 193.75 crore.
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Akshaye Widhani under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara stars debutant Aneet Padda and Ahaan Panday in the lead roles.
