Finally, most-awaited trailer of the upcoming romantic comedy family drama ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is out now. Directed by Karan Johar, the stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
The trailer starts off with a heated fight on the street between Rocky and Rani, which soon turns into a whirlwind romance. The two are absolutely smitten with each other and decide that they went to spend the rest of their lives together. But the problem is that both of them come from very different families and are not sure how they would fit into each other’s families.
To resolve this, they decide to do a family swap. The trailer also gave us a glimpse into Rocky and Rani’s families and what awaits the two. The film is a typical Karan Johar film with drama, romance and of course, larger-than-life characters which also seem relatable.
Ahead of the release of RRKPK’s trailer, makers unveiled the first romantic number from its soundtrack, ‘Tum Kya Mile’ which became a rage among music lovers. Composed by Pritam and sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, the song was shot in Kashmir earlier this year.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Karan’s return to the director’s chair after 2016’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The Dharma Productions film is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on July 28.
