Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani box office collection day 5: Karan Johar’s directorial RRKPK was released in theaters on July 28. The family drama stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. On Monday, the film has crossed Rs 50 crore mark at the domestic box office.
Due to the positive word of mouth, it maintained a good pace over the weekend and did a business of Rs 45.90 crores which included Rs 11.10 crores on Friday, Rs 16.05 crores on Saturday, and Rs 18.75 crores on Sunday from nearly 3200 screens in India.
Then on weekdays, Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios’ presentation recorded a usual drop in footfalls but still scored well with Rs 7.02 crores on Monday. On Tuesday, RRKPK shown a little jump and minted an amount of Rs 7.30 crores and has put up a total of Rs 60.22 crores at the domestic box office after 5 days.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, co-starring Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi and is expected to remain steady on weekdays.
Going forward, the film is expected to end its opening week at the box office with a collection of Rs 70+ crore. It will enter the Rs 100 cr club in its second week.
