Actress Rakul Preet Singh is all set to join Saif Ali Khan in an upcoming thriller under filmmaker Ramesh Taurani’s banner. In a report in India Today, sources have confirmed that Rakul Preet Singh has been signed on for a film that is produced by Ramesh Taurani.
“Rakul is set to team up with Saif Ali Khan for an exciting new project under Ramesh Taurani’s banner. After the success of Mere Husband Ki Biwi, she’s making smart choices, and this film will only add to her momentum,” the source was quoted, as per reports.
While Rakul has been a part of action films in the past, the source also insisted that this will be a different and challenging role for her, without divulging much on her character.
Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh is busy with the shoot of De De Pyaar De 2. The actress is set to play Ayesha Khurana in the romantic comedy as she reunites with Ajay Devgn. The sequel will also feature R. Madhavan in a key role. Directed by Anshul Sharma, the film is expected to release in November, this year.
Rakul Preet was seen in Mere Husband Ki Biwi opposite Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. The film was released earlier this month.
