The much awaited trailer of the most awaited film, Stree 2, is is all set to release in the next few days. A sequel to Stree (2018), it is the fifth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the trailer of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film, Stree 2, will be released on July 18 (Thursday). While the teaser didn’t reveal much about the plot, the trailer launch is expected to explore the storyline and other details about the film.
The portal also reported that Stree 2’s trailer will be attached to Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk’s upcoming film, Bad Newz, during its theatrical release. The latter will hit screens on July 19.
The original Stree starred Shraddha Kapoor as a tailor named Stree who stumbles upon the town’s secret, Rajkummar Rao as the love interest drawn into the mystery, and Pankaj Tripathi as the resident soothsayer. The film was helmed by Amar Kaushik.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is expected to have a cameo in Stree 2. The film, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios, is set to release in theatres on August 15, 2024.
