Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor have teased fans with a picture from the sets which certainly means the shooting of the much-awaited Stree 2 has kickstarted.
On Monday, June 27, Rajkummar Rao gave a special surprise to his fans. Dropping a picture with his Stree co-star Shraddha Kapoor on Instagram, the actor announced that they have started shooting for the much-anticipated Stree 2.
Sources close to the development of the sequel of the film tell us that Stree 2 will be shot in Chanderi too. The actors will begin shooting there in the second week of July.
The most successful film in the horror-comedy universe, Stree, is gearing up for a sequel titled Stree 2. The film will release on August 31st, 2024, over six years after the release of the original. The film will go into principal photography later this year.
Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi will be reprising their roles of Stree, Vicky, and Rudra respectively.
