Raid 2 2nd day box office collection: The crime-thriller sequel, Raid 2, starring Ajay Devgn in his formidable avatar, continues its strong performance at the Indian box office. Following a robust opening day capitalizing on the May Day holiday, the film demonstrated a commendable hold on its second day, Friday, May 2, 2025, indicating a positive trajectory for its overall run.
Helmed by director Raj Kumar Gupta and featuring a compelling ensemble cast including Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, debuted with an impressive Rs 19.71 crore net in India. On the next day, i.e Saturday, Raid 2 maintained a steady pace on its second day, raking in approximately Rs 13.05 crore net across India.
This brings the film’s total domestic collection to a solid Rs 32.76 crore net within the first two days of its release. While a dip from the opening day is expected for films releasing post a holiday, the figures showcase the film’s ability to attract audiences even on a regular working day.
The film could comfortably cross the Rs 70 crore mark by the end of Sunday, provided it maintains a similar or better performance on Saturday and Sunday.
The long weekend due to the weekend following the Friday release will further aid its box office collection.
