After the huge success of the 2018 movie Raid, Ajay Devgn is back with director Rajkumar Gupta, producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, and Kumar Mangat Pathak for the much awaited sequel, Raid 2.
The film’s producer Abhshek Pathak, announced the news with a poster of the forthcoming film. He wrote on X, “IRS Officer Amay Patnaik returns for another gripping case! Get ready for intense drama and suspense with Raid 2 on 15th November 2024!”
The movie has commenced shooting in Mumbai today, January 6 and will be extensively shot in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Readers would be aware that the prequel captivated audiences with its gripping narrative, and now, with the sequel underway, Raid 2 promises even more intensity with double the drama and suspense.
The first part was based on the real-life income-tax raid conducted by the officers of the IT department on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s which distinguished itself from others for being the longest raid in Indian history, lasting three days and two nights.
