With the increasing popularity of South cinema, fans are waiting to watch another commercial movie, and director Prashanth Neel is all set to entertain them with Salaar. Since the makers of the film dropped its awaited trailer, it has been compared to Yash-starrer KGF. Amid the discussion, Neel opens up on why KGF and Salaar look similar.
During the promotion of the same, director Prashanth Neel was spotted in an interview with Baradwaj Rangan on Galatta Plus talking and hailing about commercial cinema. The KGF director said, “When it comes to cinema, I’m not looking for appreciation from any other corner. I just want people to go to the theaters, buy tickets, and love the movie and come out with an experience.”
Moreover, in the same interview, Prashanth Neel was asked why his films have a certain color tone to which he replied “The reason why KGF and Salaar look that way is because I have OCD. I’m not too fond of anything with too many colors. It’s a reflection of my personality that comes on screen.”
Salaar, stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruthi Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, and Easwari Rao.
