The team behind the much-awaited film Peddi, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, has arrived in Pune for a spectacular new schedule — a high-energy song sequence expected to be one of the film’s biggest highlights.

Following a grand shoot in Mysore that involved over 1,000 background dancers, the Pune schedule is set to raise the bar even higher. The song will be choreographed by renowned dance master Jani Master, while the musical composition comes from none other than Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman, promising an electrifying blend of visuals and sound.
According to sources close to the production, this song is being mounted on a massive scale with elaborate sets and hundreds of dancers. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that this track becomes a chartbuster upon release. The Pune leg of the shoot is expected to last several days and will feature both lead stars — Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor — in never-seen-before avatars.
So far, nearly 60% of Peddi has been shot, with schedules previously completed in Hyderabad and Mysore. The Pune shoot marks one of the final major sequences before the film enters post-production.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of Uppena fame, Peddi is a rural action-drama with strong emotional undertones. The film marks the first-time collaboration between Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor and is already generating major buzz across industries.
Jointly produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, the film also stars Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
Set for a Pan-India release on March 27, 2026 — timed with Ram Charan’s birthday — the film is expected to cater to audiences across languages with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
