Pathu Thala 2nd day box office collection: Simanbarasan TR’s latest release continue to shine at the box office. Directed by Obeli N. Krishna, Pathu Thala is a Tamil remake of the Kannada film Mufti (2017).
Produced by Green Studios and Pen Studios’, the film has opened with a good response from the audience. As the result, Pathu Thala become the biggest opener for Simanbarasan TR with Rs 12.30 crores (Gross).
The striking performance of the actor made him hit a hattrick of success with ‘Pathu Thala’ following the blockbuster films ‘Maanaadu’ and ‘Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu’.
On the second day, Gangster drama has recorded a usual drop in occupancy and managed to collect the amount of 6 crores (gross). After 2 days, the total collection of Pathu Thala has become 18.30 crores (gross) at the box office. From Tamil Nadu alone, it has raked around 9 crores nett in 2 days.
Simbu is currently preparing for his next project STR 48, the movie will be Silambarasan’s first collaboration with director Desingh Periyasamy. The movie is expected to begin filming soon and the project will have the actor play a double role.
