Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham’s Pathaan is having a dream run at the box office. The action thriller is now the highest-grossing Hindi film in history of cinema with Rs 988 crores.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan was released in theatres across the globe on Jan 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film has impressed one and all. In the extened 9-days first week, the film had raked the business of 351 crores with 271 crores in the weekend & 80 crores on weekdays.
In the second week, Pathaan had maintained a strong pace at the box office and garnered the business of 91.50 crores that included 63.50 crores in the weekend and 28 crores on weekdays.
Then in the third week as well, Siddharth Anand’s directorial had remained unaffected and bagged the amount of 45.65 crores with 29.35 crores in the weekend and 16.30 crores on weekdays. After 3 weeks, the film had raised its total collection to 488.15 crores.
Yash Raj Films’ production, Pathaan had started the fourth weekend at a good note and minted the amount of 2.20 crores on Monday. Over Saturday & Sunday, the film has recorded a solid jump in footfalls and scored 3.25 crores & 4.15 crores respectively on board. After 24 days, its total collection has become 497.75 crores from its Hindi version only.
While its Telugu and Tamil versions of Pathaan earned 0.05 crores day 24, 0.07 crores on day 25 and 0.10 crores on day 26, taking the total collection of the dubs to 17.92 crores including 13.15 crores in the first week, 3.25 crores in the second week and 1.30 crores in the third week.
