Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer Pathaan all set to cross the Rs 500 crore mark at the domestic box office. The film, which is now the highest-grossing movie of the year is expected to put up a good third-week figure.
With a great initial buzz, Pathaan was opened at an earth-shattering note and had registered the biggest opening of all time. Over the extended 9-days first week, it had raked the business of 351 crores that included 271 crores in 5-days weekend and 80 crores in weekdays.
In the second week, the film had remained super-strong and did the business of 91.50 crores with 63.50 crores in the weekend and 28 crores in weekdays. Then in the third weekend also, it had maintained a strong pace and bagged the amount of 5.75 crores on Friday, 11 crores on Saturday & 12.60 crores on Sunday.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, Pathaan is now running in weekdays and still has a good hold. After a usual drop in footfalls, it had minted the amount of 4.10 crore on 3rd Monday. On the next day i.e. 3rd Tuesday (Valentine’s Day Eve), it has managed to collect 5.40 crores and raised 21 days total collection to 481.35 crores nett from Hindi version.
While its Telugu and Tamil versions of Pathaan earned 0.80 crores on 3rd weekend and 0.20 crores on day 21 taking the total collection of the dubs to 17.50 crores including 13.15 crores in the first week, 3.25 crores in the second week.
