Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback film, Pathaan released on January 25 this year and opened with a great start. The film saw a historic advance booking and crossed Rs 50 crore nett on the first day of release itself and continued to lock the box office.
At an unexpeced note, Pathaan had registered a massive opening business and become the biggest Hindi opener of all time. Over the extended 9-days week, it did the business of 351 crores with 271 crores in 5-days weekend and 80 crores in weekdays.
In the second week as well, Yash Raj Films’ production had maintained a solid pace and raked the business of 91.50 crores that included 63.50 crores in the weekend and 28 crores in weekdays. Then it had started the third weekend also at a steady note and minted the amount of 5.75 crores on 3rd Friday.
On 3rd Saturday, Pathaan had picked up well and bagged the amount of 11 crores. On the next day i.e. 3rd Sunday, with a further jump, the film has scored 12.60 crores and raised its 19 days total collection to 471.85 crores from Hindi version only.
While its Telugu and Tamil versions of Pathaan earned 0.15 crores on day 17, 0.25 crores on day 18 and 0.40 crores on day 19 taking the total collection of the dubs to 17.20 crores including 13.15 crores in the first week, 3.25 crores in the second week.
