After an underperformed opening weekend, the much-anticipated Bollywood movie Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas has entered on weekdays at a low note in India. Despite mixed feedback from the viewers, it is not getting the expected response from the audience even in metro cities.
Actor Sunny Deol’s directorial debut film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is struggling at the box office but has fared better than its competitors. Sunny Deol, who launched his son Karan Deol with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, has earned nearly Rs 3.50 crore in its opening weekend.
On Friday, it opened on a poor note and collected 1.12 crores. Over the weekend, PPDKP recorded an uptrend but overall remained low and collected 1.40 crores on Saturday & 1.90 crores on Sunday. On Monday, with a significant drop, it minted 0.65 crores and raised 4 days total collection to 5.07 crores at the domestic box office.
On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Ali Fazal, and Amyra Dastur starrer Prassthanam has received mixed reviews from the critics and remained poor throughout the weekend with 0.80 crore on Friday, 1 crore on Saturday & 1.25 crore on Sunday. On Monday, with a usual decline, it collected 0.50 crores and raised 4 days total collection to 3.55 crores.
Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan starrer The Zoya Factor has also got failed to impress all the critics and even in attracting enough audience. In the opening weekend, it raked the business of only 2.50 crore which included 0.85 crore on Friday, 0.85 crore on Saurday & 0.80 crore on Sunday. After collecting 0.15 crore on Monday, the 4 days total collection of the movie has become 2.65 crore.
