Post the nationwide popularity of Karthikeya 2, Nikhil Siddhartha has been gaining acceptance across the country. The South star is now gearing up for another Pan India project, mounted on a massive scale and set in another century with Swayambhu. After it was reported that the actor will be seen playing a legendary warrior, now joining him in this battle will be a leading lady. The makers have roped in Nabha Natesh for one of the key roles in the film and took to social media to announce about the same.
While Samyuktha Menon has already been roped in as one of the female leads in the movie, Nabha Natesh is also expected to be seen as the other leading lady in the upcoming entertainer. For the unversed, the film also marks the return of the actress post her arm injury. A video was unveiled by the makers on Thursday as they announced about Nabha joining the star cast. It shows how the actress is joining the team after being cured of her arm injury. It also features the beautiful transformation of the modern-day Nabha into a historical princess sporting saree and ancient temple jewellery.
We hear that the actress too will undergoing prep just like Samyukta who too is said to have undertaken training for her character. A source close to the film revealed, “Nabha is playing a crucial and powerful role in the movie which had to be evident in her get-up and looks. And she does look like a perfect choice for the role”.
On the other hand, it is a known fact that Nikhil Siddhartha too took intense training in weapons, martial arts, and horse riding, for his role in the film.
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, Swayambhu marks the landmark 20th movie of Nikhil. Bhuvan and Sreekar are producing this Pan India project under Pixel Studios with Tagore Madhu presenting it. Swayambhu is said to be mounted on a large scale with top-class technicians and the shoot of the movie is presently underway. As for the rest of the crew, Ravi Basrur will be scoring the music, whereas M Prabhaharan is the production designer and the dialogues for the movie have been written by Vasudev Muneppagari.
