Shreyaa Chaudhry is all set for a new chapter on the big screen. The actress has been announced as the female lead opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Mupapa, an upcoming theatrical film backed by Yash Raj Films and Posham Pa Pictures.
The announcement adds another interesting name to a project that has already generated curiosity because of its unusual title and the secrecy surrounding its story. While the makers have chosen not to reveal much about the plot or Chaudhry’s character, her casting marks an important addition to the film’s central cast.
Directed by Sameer Saxena and produced by Akshaye Widhani and Posham Pa Pictures, Mupapa is slated for a theatrical release on February 19, 2027.
Shreyaa Chaudhry has gradually built a following through performances that have allowed her to explore characters with emotional depth. Many viewers know her particularly well as Tamanna Sharma from the Bandish Bandits series, where she appeared alongside a strong ensemble cast.
Her film credits also include Dear Maya and The Mehta Boys. With Mupapa, the actress now gets an opportunity to headline a major theatrical project alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
