Mission Raniganj and Thank You For Coming box office collection day 3: Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj and Bhumi Pednekar’s Thank You For Coming, have completed the opening weekend on an overall low note.
On the opening day, Mission Raniganj started the journey on a low note but witnessed slight rise from evening shows and did the business of Rs 2.80 crore on Friday. With decent jump on Saturday, it minted Rs 4.80 crores. Then on Sunday, the movie collected Rs 5 crores* and raised it’s 1st weekend total to Rs 12.60 crores.
Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, it is based on the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989, in West Bengal. The film also features Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan and Varun Badola.
In parallel, Thank You For Coming bagged the amount of 1.06 crore on Friday. Directed by Karan Boolani, the film showed a good hold over the weekend and collected Rs 1.56 crores on Saturday and Rs 1.80 crores on Sunday. With this, it has reported a total collection of Rs 4.42 crores in 3 days.
