Mission Raniganj and Thank You For Coming box office collection day 1: Akshay Kumar’s Mission Raniganj and Bhumi Pednekar’s Thank You For Coming have taken a very dull start at the box office with mixed reactions from the viewers.
On Friday, Mission Raniganj took a low start with around 7-10% occupancy in the morning. Post noon shows, it showed some growth on single screens and managed to rake the opening business of Rs 2.80 crore which is disappointing.
Written by Vipul K Rawal, it is based on the Raniganj Coalfields collapse of 1989, in West Bengal. The film also features Parineeti Chopra, Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan and Varun Badola.
On the other hand, Thank You for Coming starring Bhumi Pednekar has managed to rake the business of Rs 1.06 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Directed by Karan Boolani, the film also features Shehnaaz Gill, Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila and Shibani Bedi.
