The trailer of Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi’s suspense thriller ‘Merry Christmas’ is out now. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, has been filmed in both Hindi and Tamil.
Produced by Tips Films and Matchbox Pictures, it is a thriller set against the backdrop of Christmas where two strangers meet and instantly hit it off. But what seems to be a nice breezy romance soon takes a turn, for the worse. In fact, the makers had themselves revealed that a ‘delirious romance turns into a nightmare and revealing anything more would be a crime’.
The Hindi version additionally boasts talents like Sanjay Kapoor, Vinay Pathak, Pratima Kannan, and Tinnu Anand, while the Tamil version has stalwarts like Radhika Sarathkumar, Shanmugaraja, Kavin Jay Babu, and Rajesh Williams. Radhika Apte and Ashwini Kalsekar have special cameos in both versions.
The film marks the Tamil debut of Raghavan, Kaif and music composer Pritam as well as the third Hindi film for Sethupathi.
Merry Christmas is all set to hit the screens on January 12, 2024.
