Actor Varun Tej, who was last seen in ‘Gandeevadhari Arjuna’, is eagerly anticipating the release of his upcoming film, Operation Valentine. Besides that, Varun Tej has another project in the pipeline titled Matka, a pan-Indian film directed by the acclaimed Karuna Kumar.
The makers, on Friday, released the first glimpse called Opening Bracket, unveiling the actor’s new look and introducing the characters from the movie. The story which takes place between 1958-1982 is based on a real incident that shook the entire nation and the story is set in the backdrop of Vizag. The story spans 24 years.

The film features Guntur Kaaram fame Meenakshi Chaudhary in the lead actress role, and the ensemble cast includes Nora Fatehi, Naveen Chandra, Kannada Kishore, Ajay Ghosh, Mime Gopi, Roopalakshmi, Vijayrama Raju, Jagadeesh, Raj Thirandas, and others.
Vyra Entertainments is producing the film, and the musical score is entrusted to GV Prakash Kumar.
