Director Ramesh Varma’s ambitious magnum opus Mahaveer Karna has unveiled its much-anticipated glimpse of Raghava Lawrence as Karna. The striking first look has already sparked excitement among fans and film buffs.
Pen Movies, which is producing the film, shared the actor’s first-look poster on its social media handles. It wrote, “A Face. A Legend. A Warrior. Here is the FIRST LOOK of #RaghavaLawrence as #MahaveerKarna. @offl_Lawrence steps into mythology for the first time as the legendary #Karna. The film has triggered huge interest as this will be the first time that Raghava Lawrence will be seen in a mythological film.
According to sources close to the production, the film is being mounted on a reported budget of Rs 150 crore. The project is being developed as a five-language epic and is planned for release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada.
Mahaveer Karna is being produced by Pen Movies Jayantilal Gada in association with RV Studios and Sri Neeladri Productions. The film is slated to release worldwide next year.
