This Thursday, three South Indian movies- Leo (Tamil), Bhagavanth Kesari (Telugu) and Ghost (Kannada) have been released at the box office. As expected, due to a solid pre-buzz’, the Thalapthy Vijay’s Leo has taken a lead over the rest.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, action-thriller Leo stars Vijay in lead role along with Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Trisha, Madonna Sebastian, Gautham Vasudev Menon and more. The movie has received mixed reviews from the critics, but most of the viewers have liked it.
On the opening day, Seven Screen Studio’s production opened to a terrific note and remained strong throughout. Most of the theaters in south India were housefull on Thursday and witnessed great footfalls. As the result, the film raked the business of Rs 64.80 crores nett (Rs 78 crores gross) at the Indian box office.
On the other hand, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Sreeleeala, Kajal Aggarwal and Arjun Rampal starrer Bhagavanth Kesari has received positive reviews from the critics. On the opening day, the total collection of Anil Ravipudi’s directorial is recorded as Rs 16.60 crores (Rs 32.33 crores gross) on domestic box office.
While the last, Shiva Rajkumar’s heist action thriller film Ghost was released with low buzz but getting positive remarks from audience as well as critics. On Thursday, it opened dull but picked up later and raked the business of Rs 1.40 crore.
