Kushi box office collection day 3: After a decline on Saturday, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha starrer Kushi takes a slight jump on Sunday and completed its first weekend at a decent note.
Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Kushi took a good start at the box office with a collection of Rs 16 crore which included Rs 14.70 cr from Telugu and Rs 0.55 crore from Tamil.
On Saturday, the film showed significant drop and minted Rs 9.90 including Rs 9.25 cr from Telugu and Rs 0.65 cr from Tamil. Then on Sunday, it took slight growth and bagged 10.10 crores (Rs 9.45 cr from Telugu and 0.65 cr from Tamil and registered a 3-day total of Rs 35.25 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Produced by Mythiri Movie Makers, the film also features Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore and Jayaram in key roles.
Kushi is expected to face tough competition on September 7 when Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan hit the theatres. Jawan will also be released in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
