Kushi day 2 box office collection: Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s latest romantic drama Kushi opened in theatres on Friday with a positive reaction from critics as well as audience.
On the opening day, Kushi had started the journey at a good note in the morning with around 40% occupancy. Over the evening and night shows, the film showed fair growth in multiplexes across the country and raked a solid total of 15.75 crores which included Rs 14.70 cr from Telugu and Rs 0.55 crore from Tamil.
On the next day i.e. Saturday, Shiva Nirvana’s directorial has significant drop and minted the amount of 9.90 crores (Rs 9.25 cr from Telugu and Rs 0.65 cr from Tamil). After 2 days, the total collection of this new Telugu offering has become 25.15 crores nett at the domestic box office.
Kushi tells the story of a couple who falls in love and gets married after convincing their families. The story takes a twist as marital life poses its challenges.
Produced by Mythiri Movie Makers, the film also features Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore and Jayaram in key roles.
