Kuku Ki Kundli: Bhuvan Bam’s Bollywood Debut Announced at Mumbai Event

Bhuvan Bam is set to make his big-screen debut with Kuku Ki Kundli, a comedy-drama backed by Dharma Productions. The announcement was made at Amazon Prime Video’s ‘It All Starts Here’ event held in Mumbai on March 19, where the actor was joined by filmmaker Karan Johar.

The makers unveiled the title poster at the event, offering a glimpse into the film’s tone while keeping further details under wraps. The project marks a significant milestone for Bhuvan Bam, who rose to prominence through digital content and has since transitioned into acting with web shows.

Kuku Ki Kundli is positioned as a light-hearted entertainer with a romantic core. The story revolves around a hopeless romantic whose seemingly perfect love story takes an unexpected turn due to complications in his kundli. What follows is a series of comedic situations involving family chaos, misunderstandings, and emotional dilemmas, ultimately leading the protagonist on a journey that tests both his courage and his belief in destiny.

The film is directed by Sharan Sharma and written by Mohak Aneja and Kunal Aneja. It brings together an ensemble cast featuring Wamiqa Gabbi, Manoj Pahwa, Geeta Agrawal, Suvinder Pal, and Sapna Sand alongside Bhuvan Bam.

Backed by Dharma Productions, the film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, and Apoorva Mehta, with Raj Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza also associated as producers. The project reflects Dharma’s continued focus on blending mainstream storytelling with fresh talent.
