KKPK 2 1st day box office collection: Kapil Sharma starrer “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2” has finally released in theatres, but the film has taken a slow start at the box office on Day 1. As per early trade estimates, the comedy sequel collected around Rs 2 crore on its opening day.
Despite being a sequel to a popular comedy film, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 witnessed low to average occupancy across cinema halls, especially during morning and afternoon shows. The film failed to create strong buzz before release, which clearly reflected in its opening day numbers.
The opening is much lower than the first part, which had a strong box office debut. Trade analysts have termed the Day 1 figures as below expectations, considering Kapil Sharma’s popularity.
Now, the film’s fate depends largely on word-of-mouth and weekend growth. A noticeable jump on Saturday and Sunday will be necessary for the film to sustain at the box office.
