The teaser of the upcoming action-thriller film ‘King of Kotha’ starring Dulquer Salmaan was unveiled on Wednesday in four languages – Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The film directed by Abhilash Joshi and produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios.
The teaser opens with a voice-over telling us that the cursed land of Kotha is waiting for its promised king to deliver it from the clutches of a demon. Enter Dulquer as the King, challenging our preconceived notions of a just and noble ruler. He seems to be ruthless and well-adjusted to life in brutality.
The movie has a big star line-up along with Dulquer including Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Shanthi Krishna, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Sudhi Koppa and Anikha Surendran. King of Kotha is Zee Studios’ first Malayalam film.
King of Kotha tells the story of two eras. The cinematography is by Nimish Ravi. The script had been penned by Abhilash N Chandran. . The music has been composed by Jakes Bejoy and Shaan Rahman.
The film is all set to hit the screens in August this year.
