Yash and Sanjay Dutt starrer period action drama KGF Chapter 2 is still at the top of its game as it approaches the end of its third week. Despite two biggies- Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 arriving in theatres, the magnum opus remains to be the first choice.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF 2 has got succeed to impress everyone in theatres and gathered a solid word of mouth. From critics as well, it has received mostly positive reviews and showing a rocking trend at the box office.
At an exceptional note, the sequel of KGF had registered a massive opening business and become the biggest Hindi opener of all time. Over the extended 8-days week, it did the business of 268.63 crores with 193.99 crores in 5-days weekend and 74.64 crores in weekdays.
In the second week as well, Excel Entertainment’s presentation (North India) had maintained a solid pace and raked the business of 80.18 crores that included 52.19 crores in the weekend and 27.99 crores in weekdays. Then it had started the third weekend also at a steady note and minted the amount of 4.25 crores on 3rd Friday.
On 3rd Saturday, the Hindi version of KGF 2 had picked up well and bagged the amount of 7.25 crores. On the next day i.e. 3rd Sunday, with a further jump, the film has scored 9.27 crores and raised its 18 days total collection to 369.58 crores nett.
