Suniel Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi, Vivek Oberoi and Akanksha Sharma have joined forces for the highly anticipated biopic Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath. The filmmakers have officially revealed the first motion poster along with the film’s release date.
The makers unveiled a sneak peek of the biopic’s first poster on social media, generating excitement among fans. They also announced that the teaser of Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath is set to be released on February 13, 2025, offering a first look into the film’s grand narrative and powerful storytelling.

Sooraj Pancholi will bring the courageous warrior Veer Hamirji Gohil to life on screen, while Vivek Oberoi steps into the antagonist’s role as the chief soldier of the Tughlaq dynasty, leading the charge to plunder the temple and enforce religious conversions. Suniel Shetty joins the narrative as a pivotal character who stands alongside Veer Hamirji Gohil in the fight to safeguard the sacred shrine.
Kesari Veer: Legend of Somnath is slated for a theatrical release on March 14, 2025. Helmed by director Prince Dhiman and produced by Kanu Chauhan, the film delves into the heroic tale of fearless warriors who laid down their lives to defend Gujarat’s revered Somnath Temple during the 14th century AD.
